Nanaji's Commitment
Since his early years, Nana Ji has been an avid researcher and Ayurveda enthusiast. He had such a strong interest in Ayurveda that he would turn to it for any medical issues. He thought that the bulk of medical issues could be permanently resolved through Ayurveda.
It's interesting to note that he possessed over 2500 Ayurvedic volumes in his private library in Bhagalpur, Bihar.
In order to discover a remedy for his own agony, Nanaji chose to employ his knowledge of Ayurveda when his wife Shakuntala Devi was given a diabetes diagnosis and developed a severe foot soreness 30 years ago. Later, he created the Ortho CP Massage Oil, a miraculous massage oil that helped Naniji with her foot pain.
A few years later, he noticed a sharp increase in the amount of hair he was losing. He once more turned to Ayurveda for a remedy and came up with the formula for a hair oil. But during his first attempt to make the oil, there were a few irregularities in its efficacy. Nanaji was too busy running his textile company to find the time to change and enhance the formula.
His investigation was ongoing. He experimented with herbs at home whenever he had free time and read Ayurveda-related materials. Over two decades and tens of thousands of pages were devoted to research by Nanaji.
